Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson is cementing his status as a Hollywood star — literally.
The popular multi-hyphenate is reportedly set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Dec. 13 for his contributions in the motion pictures category.
"Not only does Dwayne have a great personality and talent, but he also does a great amount of philanthropic work which is part of the criteria for earning an immortal spot on the Walk of Fame," producer of Walk of Fame ceremonies Ana Martinez told Variety. "We envision scores of photos being taken at his star by his fans."
Johnson, 45, is a familiar face at the box office, and has starred in hits like "Moana" and the most recent "Fast and Furious" installment, "The Fate of the Furious."
Stars honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
He currently has the highly-anticipated "Jumanji" reboot on the horizon, as well as a "Fast and Furious" spin-off co-starring Jason Statham.
His ceremony will come just before those of Lin-Manuel Miranda, Weird Al Yankovic and Shonda Rhimes, who are all slated to receive stars of their own in 2018.
Celebrities who score a star must first be nominated, be it by a third party, such as a fan or a recording label, or by themselves.
The highly coveted stars cost $40,000, and celebrities must agree to attend the star's public unveiling ceremony before they're allowed to accept, a policy put in place after Bruce Springsteen declined his star and had it rescinded in 1989.
